Why the woman cries.

A small boy asked his mother: "Why do you cry?"

"Because I need to," she answered.

"I don't understand," he said.

His mother hugged him and said: "And you will never do."

Later the boy asked his father: "Why does mother cry for nothing?"

"All women cry for nothing," his father answered indifferent.

The little boy still wondered why women cry, so he finally asked an older wise shaykh (learned). "He probably knows the answer," he thought.

"Oh shaykh! Why do women cry so easily?"

The shaykh answered: "When Allah created the woman she had to become special. He made her shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the whole world, yet soft enough to give comfort.

He gave her an inner strength to handle both child birth and rejection which many times come from her children. He made her persistent which allows her to keep fighting when everyone else give up, and to take care of her family through sickness and exhaustion without complaint. He gave her the sensitivity to love her children during all circumstances, even when her children hurt her deeply. He gave her the strength to carry her husband through his weaknesses and created her from his ribs to protect his heart.

He gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his wife, but tries her stability and her decision to be by his side with no doubts. And finally, He gave her a tear. This is hers and only her special to use whenever she wants to. She needs no reason. No explanation. It's hers.

You see, my son, the beauty in a woman doesn't lay in the clothes she wears, the beauty in her face, or the way she brushes her hair. The woman's beauty is to be seen in her eyes, because that is the door to her heart. The place where the love is staying."
