The Hadith Of The Day.
It is permissible to keep cats but it is not permissible to buy or sell them; they may be given as gifts or given away.
That is because of the hadeeth of Abu’l-Zubayr who said: “I asked Jaabir about the price of dogs and cats. He said, ‘The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) forbade that.’”
(Narrated by Muslim, 1569).

The Hadith Of The Day.
Hadith of the Day'On the Day of Judgement, the believers will be given a light according to the degree of their faith.
Some of them will gain light that illuminates over a distance of several miles, some more, some less. Some people's light will glow sometimes & be extinguished at other times.
They will therefore, walk...
on the Sirat (the bridge over the fire) in the light, stopping when it is extinguished'
