Source: Madjmû'-ul-Fatawa (24/265) of Ibn Taymia (rahimahullah) Question:
There are Muslims who have Christian neighbors. Is it permissible for a Muslim to visit a sick Christian? Is it permissible to attend his funeral if he dies? Answer: Leave and price to be Allah, the Lord made.
It should not be attending his funeral. However, it is allowed to visit him if he would get sick, because the advantage is that the person can become a Muslim.
If the person dies as cheating, he will end up in hell, and therefore we should not pray for him - and Allah knows better.
