Shaykh Bin Baz (rahimahullâh) asked:
Is it correct what some scholars in Shafî'is Madhab said the woman during her menstrual still get a reward for the prayer (but that she did not ask) and they are based on the hadith "If a 'abd (slave) becomes ill or traveling may be so he is as much a reward as if he were healthy or resident ... "
Shaykh replied
"That's right. If Allah is aware of her enthusiasm and love for prayer and menstruation stopped her from asking so she falls into during this hadith.
