May be engaged to speak on the phone

Question:

Is it permissible under Sharî'ahn that an engaged couple (Khatib and Khatîbah) talk to each other on the phone.

Answer:

It is permissible for the engaged couple to talk to each other on the phone if she has accepted him and they talk to understand each other. They must ensure that they are talking about what they are in need and that it does not lead to any review.

However, it is better and safer against suspected in case it goes through her legal guardian
