Michael's Jackson's brother Jermaine Jackson reached out to the Muslim world in a long, controversial interview with the Dubai-based pan-Arab news channel Al-Arabiya aired Thursday night.

During his nearly hourlong talk, he spoke out about his brother's death, the conspiracies he believed were behind the singer's downfall -- and how he believes the King of Pop was on the verge of converting to Islam.
After spending time in the Gulf (Michael Jackson lived in Bahrain for a while in 2005), "Michael hired a team that was all Muslim,” Jackson told Al- Arabiya, dressed in a red Arab Keffeyeh scarf. “His behavior at the time also showed that he was very close to converting.”
Jackson went on to recount to Arab households how the King of Pop was drawn by Islam, saying his brother loved hearing the Muslim call to prayer and eagerly read books on Islam. Jackson said Islam would have protected his brother from harm.
"I felt that Michael was looking for that divine feeling .... I brought him books from Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, from a lot of mosques. He read all of them. He was studying ... he was ready to make that journey. His protection would have been Islam ... he had a very tough life," he said.
When asked by his interviewer whether Michael Jackson ever suggested that he would convert, Jackson implied his brother may have been a Muslim in his heart.
"I wished he would have made that announcement. Maybe he made it in his soul ... but at the same time we want to hear it," he said.
He added that the amount of time Michael spent in the Middle East and the number of friends he had there also indicated he had embraced Islam.
Jermaine Jackson, a composer and former member of the Jackson 5, himself developed an interest in Islam during a trip to the Persian Gulf in the late 1980s and later became a Muslim. When asked to share his travels with the viewers, he said he "never felt a connection" until he became a Muslim and how he believes his ancestors were Muslims and that Christianity was imposed on them through slavery.
At one point, he explains his emotional and spiritual journey in his pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
"We drove from Bahrain to Riyadh (the capital of Saudi Arabia) and then took a flight to Mecca. It was the most wonderful feeling. It felt so pure, so special. I knew that was the connection," said Jackson.
He only wishes his brother had followed his example and become a Muslim too. Islam, says Jackson, would have saved the King of Pop from many hardships.
"I believe that Islam would have helped him a lot. Had he converted, he would have been spared all the problems he had been subjected to throughout his life," he said.

thank you for posting this in your blog specially Jermain Jakson interview I have Al Arabiya channel but without you i couldn't know about this interview
so, I wanna tell you something last Ramadan a sister told me that she had a vision about Michael "some people don't believe in visions but the visions is part of 64 part of prophecy .prophet Mohamed said that" the vision was clear and it was telling that he was Muslim but i wanted to be sure if it was a real vision or not so i called a shaikh who is also interpreter of visions he is Reliable source ,that it took nearly two months without exaggeration until i got a phone number of someone i trust
i didn't told the shaikh that the vision was about MJ i just told him it's about someone wasn't Muslim but he was searching about Islam and he died now ,we don't know if he accepted Islam before his death or not ,the shaikh told me the vision was from Allah and inshallah we can consider him as Muslim .
and from nearly two weeks ago I also dreamed of Michael and in this vision was also Muslim ,i didn't dream of him before ever not in his lifetime or even after his death but i'm not lucky this time i couldn't connect with the shaikh again but i hope that this vision is also real

I am so glad to hear this.. I belive really that Allah (swa) will tell us that hi was a muslim and now hi is in Jennah but not really there yet..
But i know in my heart especially after this from Jermanie and our dreams that he became a Muslim and Alhamdulillah Allah (swa) loved him ..

This is a sister's dream, she also had contact with MKE by breväxla with him and met him a few times in the early 90's .. But lost contact and is also not had contact since then .. And dreamed that after he died

I dreamed that I stood in a meadow more beautiful than ever. and that I was looking for my husband. I saw this man a blind man.
I am going up a small hill mkt. where is this dark one. he looks just like Michael Jackson did in their young teens. he says hello. I do not remember if he said hi and salam. but anyway .....
my friend! he says to me.
I welcome back, continues to look and then look for my husband. then I wake up

Here are my dreams: The dream that I and my husband is out .. We will in any way to Mike and is in his home .. he wears Muslim prayers clothes but is very sad .. He and I talk. He says he wants to know more about Islam, and I say to him to talk to my husband because he is more knowledgeable than me and also a brother to him in Islam.
Then I do not remember.
Next is that I am dreaming that he says to me: Why do you care now when I'm dead.

She dreams that Mike has a press conference in front of the media. He starts to sing the QUran al -fatiha for them. And then he says: All who are murdered come to Jennah.
And this was the day before his death papers came out that he was murdered .. Subanallah ..

after i had read this wonderful visions i was excited to talk with shaikh Mustafa again and he answered this time actually what surprised me is that he is still remember me i told him about my vision and he kept saying mashallah mashallah he was happy with this vision and he told me "all this visions mean that Allah loves him and he was Muslim " i was hoping if you heard him yourself he was talking with confidence ,in fact he made me cry
he told me we should learn from this that there are good people in need to help and we as Muslims are lazy ,we should help them not only Non-Muslims but also Muslims at the same time that will renews our faith and if we can't we should be good example at least

i went to the club in the morning and was almost empty of people i saw Micheal's sister Latoya standing in children's swimming pool she was Carrying baby girl and said to her 'Subhanallah do you hear me? Subhanallah 'beside her in another swimming pool Janet was standing and also she was carrying little boy and said to him 'Allahakbar 'after that i went back to my mother and told her what i saw and i said to myself why i didn't ask his sister if Michael was Muslim or not so i came back to the club again to ask them ,it became evening and the place was crowded i found them in the children park Latoya was wearing a veil i asked her did you convert to Islam ? she said yes i was so happy and hold her then i asked Janet did you become Muslim too? she said no I'm Jewish she meant she didn't became Muslim yet so i invited her to Islam and told her how i become sad when someone dies non Muslim and i told her that I'm so sad because of Michael she said 'don't be sad he was Muslim he and his brother were Muslims

Three nights after he died, and I had been praying non stop for God to send me a dream about where Michael is, I had a dream that Michael was sitting in a room, with angels protecting him, and he looked at me in the eyes, and said "please do not cry, i am alright. i am perfectly safe now" .
and one time when I woke up from another dream in which angels again told me that Michael was Muslim, i woke up, and i was talking to myself... i was saying "I love you Michael, please wait for me..ALhamdulillah Alhamdulillah" and I wasnt quite awake. i was still half asleep. and for some reason, I smelled a delicious smell, and I rose from the bed, still half asleep, because the smell was coming from above, and I wanted to keep smelling it, because it smelled so good. and I was smiling, and talking about Michael. and tehn when i really woke up, i realized that there was no good smell at all; i didnt understand anything. and one night, after another dream about Michael, I woke up, and saw Light coming through the window; a very strong STRONG light, and for a second I thought it was Michael, and then I thought it was morning, so I covered my eyes because the light was much too strong, and fell back asleep. i woke up again that night later on; it was dark. i couldnt believe it. i didnt know what it was; i could have sworn that i saw light, that i had felt really good at that moment. and when i woke up again in the morning, the sun was not shining. i was very confused. one night, i looked up at the sky, and a cloud spelled ALLAH very clearly. i was absolutely amazed.
SubhanAllah. I had an amazing dream the night of october 21st: I was in the car with my friend's mom, who is a fanatic Muslim; and I was talking about how much I love Michael Jackson, but i didnt expect her to say what she did; "Michael Jackson? oh i love that man! God bless him" and I said, yes i know? but why do you say so? (she normally hates him) - i was prepared to defend- and she replied "he converted to Islam" and i said "THEY KILLED HIM BEFORE HE COULD" AND SHE SAID " OH NEVER MIND THAT! ALL THAT MATTERS IS THAT HE MEANT TO! AND ALLAH SWT COUNTS THAT AS IF THAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED. count him as a Mu2men." I was amazed.I felt like Michael was smiling from above, because then i looked up at the sky and i smiled. another night, I had a dream that Michael pointed to a dark tunnel and read QUran to me, and told me to beware of the freemasons.
well, the dream i had was about him playing in a garden, and a tree was next to him, and he avoided the tree (this was the setting of the music video for Say Say Say) and someone (or something) was sitting in the tree, and while he was playing with children, he all of a sudden looked up in disbelief at the tree (looked kind of frigthened at what was in it) and eventually was able to ignore it again and continue playing; he was very happy and in the dream danced with him and all the children. (night or two nights before my birthday)
I had this dream about two or three months ago, and in it were a group of shady-looking faceless men all compleely black (dressed in black). -side note: i want to say that this is the same group i saw in the dream on the night before his death; in that dream he was terrified of him, and the last thing i saw was that they pointed to him-
continuing on,
emerging from the group all of a sudden was a very nice looking man; blondish gray hair, blue eyes, middle aged, strong looking, friendly, wearing blue, looking radiant (all of a sudden). and he went up to me and shook my hand and intriduced me to himself, saying he was a movie director. and i became friends with him, and later on Michael appeared above me and pointed to him and said "Celine, dont fall for it, that man is evil! he was one of the people who killed me" and i said "no way, Michael, he's too nice! are you sure?" *at this point Michael was dressed in his HIStory era clothing; the era in which he wrote They Dont Care About Us, targeting the people that run the governments; the people in black that i saw in my dream**
and Michael said "yes i am sure. take a picture of him if you want proof" and i did, and he said "put it up on the wall" and i did, and in the photo, the man had no eyes; totally black, and Michael said "im warning you of these people Celine; they are great decievers. they can fool anyone. dont fall for it next time; watchout...these people killed me....he has no eyes, see? he has no soul. he sold it to the devil" and i thanked him and the dream ended.
my friend Lavinia told me about her dream she had about two months ago.
it was the EXACT same one i had.
